WHO WE ARE

The Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM) is a Christian umbrella organization for evangelical churches and Christian organizations that seeks to mobilize, unite and equip churches and organizations for the holistic proclamation of the love of God, in Christ, through word and deeds.

EAM was established in 1962 and is registered with the Malawi Government under the Trustees Incorporation Act. With a membership of over 110 church denominations and Christian organizations EAM a population of approximately 5.2 million Malawians.

EAM is part of a global network of the evangelical community. At Africa level, EAM is a member of the Association of Evangelicals for Africa (AEA) with its base in Nairobi, Kenya. At international level, EAM is a full member of World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), currently based in USA.

Prayer

Prayer is the heartbeat of the ministry of the Evangelical Association of Malawi. Please pray for the various ministries of the Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM), such as mission and ministry development, theology and Christian education, development and humanitarian relief, women and gender development, youth and children, ethics, peace and justice, education, health, mass media and communication, and stewardship and accountability.

Volunteer

Volunteering with EAM is a opportunity to use your skills, to live your faith, to gain valuable experiences and to meet people who are driven by the desire to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable and poorest people. By changing one life you change the world!
